Project Update: Laying the Groundwork for Ogden Avenue Gardens
We are pleased to announce the first official steps in the transformation of Ogden Avenue Gardens. This project represents a commitment to local sustainability and to creating a new ecological landmark for the neighborhood.
Current Milestones:
-
Site Surveying: On January 23, 2024, Sandis performed a comprehensive site survey to establish the necessary boundary and topographic plans.
-
Data Integration: These technical surveys are being processed and are expected to be available in CAD format by mid-February.
-
Landscape Vision: With the technical data in hand, Terrain Studio will immediately begin the preliminary landscape design, translating the site’s physical characteristics into a lush, functional community space.
Our current phase involves detailed site feasibility analysis and active grant preparation to ensure the long-term success and maintenance of the gardens.

About Greening Projects: Cultivating Ogden Avenue
Greening Projects is an initiative focused on reclaiming urban spaces to create high-impact environmental and social benefits. Our work at Ogden Avenue Gardens is a testament to our belief that thoughtful landscape design can solve modern urban challenges while providing a place of beauty.
The vision for Ogden Avenue Gardens centers on:
-
Ecological Stewardship: Integrating native flora and sustainable water management to create a resilient urban habitat.
-
Community Connectivity: Building a vital green link in the neighborhood that provides residents with a quiet retreat and a place for social gathering.
-
Professional Foundation: We bridge the gap between a “vacant lot” and a “vibrant park” by managing the technical complexities, including topographic surveying, landscape architecture, and grant procurement.
By taking a data-driven approach with partners like Sandis and Terrain Studio, Greening Projects ensures that Ogden Avenue Gardens will be a sustainable, well-designed asset for generations to come.
Greening Projects handles the heavy lifting behind these transformations. From topographic surveying and preliminary landscape design to grant writing, site feasibility, and fiscal sponsorship, we provide the professional framework necessary to turn a “vacant lot” into a “community asset.”
