Help Build a Pop-Up Play Space and Town Square for Bernal Heights Kids!

On Thursday, September 4, and Friday, September 5, neighbors are coming together at the Bernal Heights Recreation Center Plaza to create a pop-up play space for local kids—and we’d love your help! This is a chance to roll up your sleeves, meet fellow community members, and build something joyful right in the heart of our neighborhood.

No special skills are needed—just your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to pitch in. Whether you can give an hour or a full day, every helping hand makes a difference for the kids who will enjoy this space.

Volunteer tasks include:

• Sanding and painting play features
• Planting greenery to bring the plaza to life
• General labor and set-up to bring the play space together
