Join Greening Projects for One City Day on Saturday, July 11!

One City, Six Neighborhood Transformations

San Francisco is coming together for One City Day, a massive citywide day of action spearheaded by First Lady Becca Prowda and Mayor Daniel Lurie. With over 150 volunteer projects taking place across all 11 districts, thousands of San Franciscans will step up to beautify, clean, and reclaim our shared public spaces.

Greening Projects is proud to support six incredible neighborhood workdays as part of this monumental citywide effort. Whether you want to plant native flora, build a brand-new community gathering corner, or refresh a historic hillside stairway, there is a local project that needs your hands, energy, and neighborhood pride.

When: Saturday, July 11, 2026
What to bring: Wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and a reusable water bottle. Tools, gloves, snacks, and community camaraderie are fully provided.
