Fiesta del Espacio Verde de la Avenida Treat
Les invitamos a un convivio en la Avenida Treat entre las Calles 15 y Harrison
el sábado, 23 de marzo 2024 de las 10 AM a 2 PM.
El propósito es visualizar un futuro cierre de calle permanente en esta cuadra para crear un espacio verde. Durante el convivio habrá:
- Actividades para niñ@s y adult@s.
- Música en vivo irlandesa y latinoamericana.
- Celebración de nuestras diversas costumbres y culturas.
- Tentempiés y bebidas.
- Y la petición de sus ideas para un futurol espacio verde. Nuestr@s arquitect@s paisajistas (Terrain Studio) prepararán un plano y maqueta gráfica con sus ideas que presentaremos el 18 de mayo en el mismo sitio.
En colaboración con “Latina Mission Moms” y gracias a un subsidio de “Into the Streets”

- “Mother-in-law’s tongue” refers to the common, low-maintenance houseplant known as the snake plant (Dracaena trifasciata or Sansevieria trifasciata).

You’re invited to a gathering at Treat Avenue between 15th and Harrison Streets on
Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The purpose of this event is to visualize a future street closure on this block to create green space. We will have:
- Activities for kids and adults
- Live Irish and Latin-American music.
- A celebration of our diverse cultures and customs.
- Drinks and snacks
- We’d welcome your input on a future green space. Our landscape architects (Terrain Studio) will prepare a plan and rendering to reflect your ideas and present them at a future event on May 18 at the same location.
This event, spearheaded by Greening Projects in partnership with Latina Mission Moms, was made possible through a grant from Into the Streets. San Francisco Planning, the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development (SFOEWD), and San Francisco Public Works also support this initiative.
