DESCRIPTION:Join Greening Projects and Terrain Studios on May 18\, 2024\, for the second Fiesta del Espacio Verde de la Avenida Treat. \nGreening Projects and Terrain Studios will unveil a glimpse of Treat Avenue’s proposed future on May 18\, 2024\, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM\, during the second “Fiesta del Espacio Verde de la Avenida Treat” at Treat Avenue and 16th Street in San Francisco. \nThe Fiesta is a series of activations supported by “Into the Streets SF\,” a non-profit founded in 2023 that funds neighborhood collaborations that reclaim and environmentally regenerate San Francisco’s streets. \n“We’re excited to showcase the neighborhood’s ideas about transforming this street into something that benefits the Eastern Mission and the environment\,” said Jorge Romero-Lozano\, founder of Greening Projects. This non-profit organization specializes in creating as much green space as feasible within our built environment. “We know the Mission lacks green spaces for families but is also unprepared for climate change. Residents and business owners have been fighting flooding in this area for more than 150 years.
