DESCRIPTION:On December 3rd\, the Ogden Avenue Parks committee will host the first ever “Lighting of the Ogden Avenue Norfolk Pine Trees\,” which we hope will become an annual event.\n\nHello neighbors!\n\n\nOgden Avenue Tree Lighting \n\n\nYou are receiving this email because you are involved or have. Expressed interest in the Ogden Avenue Gardens (OAG) project. Please join us as we launch our first public event:\n\nLIGHTING OF THE OGDEN AVENUE NORFOLK PINE TREES\n\n400 block of Ogden between Folsom and Gates\nSaturday\, December 3rd\, starting at 4:00 PM\nLights turned on at 5:30 PM\n\nHot chocolate\, mulled wine\, and pastries for sale.\n\nOpportunity to purchase an official OAG t-shirt!\n\nIn the spirit of the Union Square tree lighting in downtown San Francisco\, we plan to make this an annual event. The event will also introduce neighbors to the OAG project and let us do a bit of fundraising.\n\nPlease let us know if you can help with any of these tasks:\n\n\nClean up before the event (weeding\, minor landscaping\, etc.) Date TBD.\nPlace lights on the trees.\nSet up food and drinks in Ana’s childcare patio (starting around 3 PM)\nBake/bring cookies\, cakes\, pies\, etc.\, to share.\nDesign\, print\, and post flyers around the neighborhood.\nInvite your neighbors and friends (an evite is in the makings)\nClean up at the end of the event.\nPlease email or call to let me know if you can join us or have questions.
