DESCRIPTION:Help Beautify District 9!\nJoin San Francisco Public Works and your fellow neighbors for our monthly Neighborhood Beautification Day on Saturday\, May 9. \nLove Our City \nLove Our City!\nVolunteer at any of the neighborhood beautification days to keep San Francisco beautiful through landscaping and gardening projects\, graffiti removal\, and litter cleanup in our neighborhoods. \nThis month\, we are focusing our efforts on the green spaces of District 9. We have eight different project sites planned\, and one of our featured locations is the iconic Tompkins Stairs. \nProject Details\nUnder the guidance of our Landscape Supervisor\, Robert\, volunteers at the Tompkins Stairs will help revitalize the area by: \n\nRemoving invasive weeds (like foxtail and fennel)\nSpreading fresh mulch\nPruning plants to encourage healthy growth\nEvent Schedule\nWork Window: Approximately 9:20 AM to 11:30 AM\nCelebration: A free lunch will be provided for all volunteers at the conclusion of the event.\n\nWhy Join?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to roll up your sleeves\, meet your neighbors\, and make a visible difference in our community’s shared outdoor spaces.
